20, 202 and 2022

2021, the year that optimists expected to receive to forget all the catastrophes that occurred in 2020. Others a little more pessimistic believed that this would only be the continuation of everything lived. Even so, both groups set goals and maintained the faith. In the end, isn't hope the last thing that is lost?

We are currently a few days away from saying goodbye and celebrating the arrival of 365 new opportunities. We are also facing the best time to reflect on what we did with those granted to us 12 months ago. Difficult question, since it carries an honest answer.

Even so, it is necessary to realize it, because it brings clarity before one of the worst mistakes that human beings can make: living in ignorance. During 2021 we learned so much that it would be a crime not to apply all that knowledge to the new days ahead.

Thanks to the different obstacles faced, we understood how important the phone can be when it is the only way we have to communicate with special people. We also recalled again that there is no virtual platform that surpasses the warmth of face-to-face meetings.

The "day to day" reminded us that only the intentionals can maintain the hope. There will always be two ways to face situations: with patience and joy or with anxiety and fear. Choosing the right path is not always the easy option, but it is the one that brings the greatest rewards.

Now, ignoring the existence of those moments where physical and emotional fatigue exceeded all our good intentions would be a mistake. That is where the importance of having a good support team was highlighted; people who seek our good, are unconditionally and we have the privilege of calling family and friends.

Finally, 2021 allowed us all to evaluate what our priorities are and the reasons behind each one of them. What do we want? Where are we going? How will we get it?, among others, are questions that will again have the opportunity to be answered.

So, we have 20 desires capable of coming true in 202 different ways in 2022. Let's take advantage of the time and do not stop looking for God's promises. Let's add joy to the menu of our lives and ensure that everything we do is to exalt the name of God.
